I'm about halfway through, it's a nice read so far, and as usual I'm enjoying the historical story more than the present-day one!

I'm just curious, does the diary sections appear in a different font in the normal edition? I'm reading a large print version and was just curious how it would look in a normal size print book.

It all looks like the same font in mine. The only different bit is the prologue, which is in italics.

Yep it's all the same in my copy, it just says "Laura's Story" at the start of the chapter.

I think it would be a good thing to have a different font for Laura's story as, in the bit I've just read (the first bit of her story) it goes straight back to Fran's bit without saying so. It's obvious, but I think the different font would help.

Sam, is yours a different font or not?

In my book the diary parts are a slightly smaller font, but the the bits headed up 'Laura's Story' are a normal font as in it's the same as the main story - the font overall is quite a nice size. I'm not finding it confusing at all either.

Mine's not a different font Nic and I think it would help. When Fran reads the diary in her chapter's then the diary has been tabbed in a bit so they don't come right to end of the margins. I'd expected with large print that there wouldn't be a differentiation between the chapters but I'd thought it would be on a normal print version.
